Joining the trend of mainstream music mayhem, Drake is being sued for canceling two of his Chicago concerts, because he allegedly wanted more money the previously agreed amount, as well as refusing to pay back hundreds of thousands of dollars he’d been paid for the performances.

Status Entertainment claimed that the rapper canceled a March 2012 show, during his reported “meteoric rise to the top of the music charts, achieving worldwide fame and fortune,” and that is apparently what made his asking price skyrocket.

Feeling charitable in the season of giving, Drake made a generous donation to the Union Gospel Mission of Portland on Wednesday (December 4).

According to Stacy Kean of the Mission, "Drake was in Portland for his concert. He was checking out the nightlife. While he was out, he saw we had our emergency cold weather shelter open. He came in and talked to our overnight supervisor, asking, 'Hey, what's going on here?'"

Disappointing a nationwide audience, Drake abruptly cancelled his appearance at the Grammy Nominations Concert in L.A. on Friday (December 6).

The "Hold On, We're Going Home" singer's rep states, "Unfortunately, due to scheduling complications, Drake will no longer be performing ... [he's] currently in the middle of his nationwide 'Would You Like A Tour?' and sincerely apologizes to his fans that he can’t be there."
