Out having a some solo relaxation time, David Beckham was spotted out on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood, CA on Monday (July 2).
The international soccer stud was seen shopping and riding around on his motorcycle while sporting his usual beanie cap and a little more facial scruff than usual.
Speaking of the British hunk's soccer career, it looks like the L.A. Galaxy superstar won’t be a member of Britain’s Men’s Olympic soccer team.
There hasn’t been another team like it since 1960, and according to British coach Stuart Pearce, David wasn’t chosen because of his current athletic state telling press, “I don't think there's a football manager around who picks on sentiment," adding, "My opening gambit to all the players was there are no guarantees. They have to come through the door on form and form alone."
After calling the 37-year-old athlete to give him the unfortunate news, Pearce says that the former British captain was “very disappointed,” but Stuart sticks by his decision explaining, “I looked at form, fitness of players, availability, and in that respect I deemed this was the best squad available.”
