David Beckham Joins Paris Soccer Team
It looks like retired life didn’t suit David Beckham. The former LA Galaxy star attended a press conference at the Parc des Princes stadium in Paris, France to announce his new career venture on Thursday (January 31).
According to reports, David signed a five-month contract with the Paris Sain Germain soccer team, confirming his involvement until the end of June.
During the press event, PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi said, "We're very happy to welcome David Beckham to Paris Saint-Germain. He will be joining for five months until 30 June."
While on the team, Beckham announced that his salary will go towards a Parisian children’s charity. He is expected to begin formal training with the team within the next few weeks.
