Their new movie is set to hit theaters this Friday (May 11), and the stars of “Dark Shadows” came together at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, CA for the film’s red carpet premiere on Monday evening (May 7).
Boasting quite the A-List cast, co-stars Johnny Depp and Michelle Pfeiffer were on hand to greet spectators and pose for awaiting photographers before heading into the new Tim Burton motion picture screening.
With fellow castmates Eva Greenand Chloe Moretz also joining in on the festivities, the ensemble's new fantasy/comedyfinds an imprisoned vampire, Barnabas Collins (Johnny Depp), set free to return to his ancestral home, where his dysfunctional descendants are in need of his protection.
Depp, who is a Tim Burton film veteran and has played in eight of the director's other films including "Edward Scissorhands" and "Alice In Wonderland," played a part in the making of this new flick.
In a recent interview, the 48 year-old actor dished, “[I said], we should do a vampire movie, like a real kind of vampire thing,’” after he brought up the late 1960s soap opera while he and Burton were on the set of “Sweeney Todd.”
