The details of the tragic shooting spree in a Denver movie theater during “The Dark Knight Rises” midnight showing are still streaming in, and Warner Bros has canceled the film’s French premiere in Paris today.
According to a report, the Paris event, scheduled for this evening, has been axed and all interviews with the cast are also off.
Warner Bros released the following statement- “Warner Bros. is deeply saddened to learn about this shocking incident. We extend our sincere sympathies to the families and loved ones of the victims at this tragic time.”
Meanwhile, James Holmes (24) is being held by police as the suspect in the incident. He allegedly entered the theater after midnight and shot dozens of people, killing at least 12.
