Dakota Fanning: Caught in the Rain

Treating herself to some retail therapy, Dakota Fanning was spotted on her way to Barneys New York on Madison Avenue in New York City yesterday (June 14).

The “New Moon” babe was joined by her mother Joy as she got caught in a chilly rain storm and tried to avoid getting wet.

Before heading inside, Dakota and her mom stopped to give a homeless man some money despite the rainy conditions.

Ms. Fanning is raising eyebrows with her new ads for designer Marc Jacobs that hearken back to the 1950s novel “Lolita.”

According to a report, Dakota’s sexualized posing and the mood of the shoot is considered by some to be inappropriate as she’s only 17 years old.
