Cynthia Nixon & Christine Marinoni Tie the Knot!

Wedding bells were ringing on Sunday (May 27) as Cynthia Nixon and her longtime girlfriend Christine Marinoni got married.

After a three year engagement the 46-year-old actress wed her 45-year-old political activist lover in New York and according to a close friend, the “Sex and the City Starlet donned a Carolina Herrera gown.

The couple first started dating in 2004 and n February 2011, Marinoni gave birth to their son, Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni. Nixon also has two children from a previous relationship with photographer Danny Mozes.

They got engaged at a pro-same sex marriage rally and waited until gay marriage was legal to wed in their home state of New York.
