CSI: NY
With brand new seasons of our favorite shows right around the corner, CBS has just released the premiere dates for its Fall 2010 lineup.
The network will once again rely heaving on its two hit franchises, "CSI" and "NCIS," while comedy shows such as "Two and a Half Men" and "How I Met Your Mother" continue to turn in respectable numbers.
The city that never sleeps will soon be the backdrop of the next incarnation of CBS' "CSI" franchise.
Sources said CBS and the folks at franchise producer Jerry Bruckheimer Television have settled on New York as the setting for the third "CSI"-branded forensic drama series, which is in the works for next season.
CBS and reps for Bruckheimer TV declined comment on the matter, but sources said CBS chief Leslie Moonves will announce the news Saturday during CBS' portion of the Television Critics Assn. press tour in Hollywood.
The drama, expected to be titled "CSI: New York," will join the Las Vegas-based mothership show, which is primetime's most-watched series, and "CSI: Miami."
