Beyonce Knowles & Jay-Z: Met Ball Lovers

They’re always up for a high-profile shindig, and last night (May 2) Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z were spotted at the Costume Institute Gala’s Met Ball.

The “Rule the World (Girls)” songstress and her “Empire State of Mind” rapper hubby arrived at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City for the “Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty” soiree and they both looked fabulous.

Beyonce donned an Emilio Pucci getup complete with gold embroidery and jet paillettes, while Jay opted for a black & cream tuxedo.

“Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty” acted as a tribute to the late designer with the opening of an exhibit featuring a number of his most fabulous creations, as curator Andrew Bolton said, "It’s meant to evoke a gothic fairy tale."
