Cobie Smulders Covers Women's Health September 2012

With the eighth season of her hit show "How I Met Your Mother" set to begin next moth, Cobie Smulders nabbed herself a little added attention by covering the September 2012 issue of Women's Health magazine.

The 30-year-old Canadian actress was photographed for the magazine by Jeff Lipsky, who opted to run with a sporty outdoor theme for the inside spread.

Meanwhile, a few of the highlights from Miss Smulders' interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Women's Health!

On how she stays in shape:
"I do Pilates because it’s important for me to have a healthy back when I’m 70 so I’m not hunched over and in pain. That’s more important to me than being thin.”

On whether she could take "The Avengers" co-star Scarlett Johansson in a fight:
“She could probably take me. I’m all legs and arms, but she’s got a nice, low center of gravity.”

On striving to not worry about what other people think:
"If one out of 10 things said about me were negative, that one thing is what would stay with me. In my twenties, it would have crushed me. Now I'd be affected, but the next day I'd be fine. I'm hoping that by the time I'm 40, that reaction will be gone completely."

On her 'girl crush' leading to a failed attempt at modeling:
"This girl modeled, and she came up to me and said she thought I looked the part [of a model]," explains Cobie. "I would have done anything to hang out with her more."
