The blonde beauty has sold more than 500,000 copies of her newest album “Blown Away” and was also the highest nominated country star at the event with five nods including Video of the Year - which she ended up winning - but the real show came when she performed her newest hit "Good Girl."
"We always look for ways to make it new, so if you were to go [search for] 'Good Girl,' you can see a whole bunch of different kinds of performances in different ways," she told CMT. "We get a little tricky here. There's a lot of lighting stuff. I can't move around a whole lot when I sing it because it takes so much out of me, but we found a way to bypass that and make it look different and make it sound a little bit different and give people something new to enjoy."
She wasn’t the only one to give the audience a treat as country stars Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Zac Brown Band and Luke Bryan took the stage throughout one of music’s biggest nights.
