Claire Danes: Baby on the Way!

In the midst of celebrating America’s independence, a rep for the beautiful Claire Danes announced that she is expecting her first child.

The 33-year-old star and her husband Hugh Dancy revealed the news to People on Wednesday afternoon (July 4) and are thrilled!

Back in the fall the “Homeland” actress told the publication, "There’s definitely a chance, no plans yet,” when asked if she had plans for a child. She added, “But yeah, that’d be fun.”

Miss Danes wed her 37-year-old beau back in January of 2009 during a private ceremony in France.

In career news, a source said that the blonde beauty’s pregnancy is not expected to impact the production of season two of her television show, which premieres on Showtime September 30.
