Save The Children’s “I’m Gonna Be Your Friend” Campaign

Merging their star power for a good cause, dozens of A-list celebrities have teamed up for Save The Children’s “I’m Gonna Be Your Friend” campaign.

With the help of social media, the effort - which kicks off today (August 9) - will work to raise funds and awareness for the drought crisis in East Africa.

Getting an overload of Tinseltown backing, more than 150 famous faces have pledged their allegiance to the cause so far including Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez

If you'd like to get in on the charitable deed, you can purchase copies of a Kevin McDonald directed short film based on Bob Marley's "High Tide or Low Tide," when it's made available.
