Chace Crawford Drops Out of "Footloose" Remake

He’s the second actor to back out of the “Footloose” remake and Chace Crawford says he’ll be too busy for the gig.

The “Gossip Girl” hunk cited his crazy schedule as his reason for turning down the role, which was also declined by Zac Efron previously.

Now, Paramount Pictures is scrambling to figure out who will reprise the character that was made famous by Kevin Bacon.

Their next idea - doing a nationwide search for an actor to play the part. Smells like a reality show could also be in the works!
