Even though the French fashion house has been through more creative directors than almost anything we’ve heard, there has definitely been a new chapter opened.

Michael Kors once took care of the label, then Ivana OmaziÄ who brought rich but in fashions onto the table, and now it is Phoebe Philo for Celine. She is a previous Chloe designer and Stella McCartney protégé who had a lot of people watching her every move and ideas. But Celine is definitely looking chic.

The mix of normal to high fashion fun is a great balance. There are tunics that are bold and bright that carry edge. From masculine, including a black and white trouser ensemble, to sassy girly girl, such as pretty, flirty dresses.

The Spring ’09 collection is out at stores now. Once you see it, you will have to have it.
