Aspen Ski Patrol Rescues “Numb3ers” Actors
According to the Aspen Ski Patrol (ASP), rescue workers had to lead Rob Morrow, Chad Lowe, and Fisher Stevens to safety after they recently ended up out-of-bounds with a group of other skiers. All of the actors have extensive skiing experience.
“We’re all good skiers,” said Rob Morrow.
The one factor that they seemed to overlook was that no one in their party was familiar with the mountain they were on. Weather conditions at the top of a mountain can be very treacherous, and even veteran skiers have lost their lives on seemingly trivial passes.
The group of “Numb3rs” actors ended up running into another group of skiers who found themselves stranded as well. Fortunately, one of the members of the group that the actors ran into had a cell phone and called for help.
It took members of the ski patrol over three hours to lead the lost skiers down the mountain. Hopefully, these actors will consider their situational awareness next time before they try to conquer a mountain that they have no experience with.
