Foxy Brown: Still Serving Time, Fighting
While she’s getting ready to release her new album “Brooklyn’s Don Diva” on November 20th, Foxy Brown will have to enjoy that day in solitary confinement.
The female rapper got into a scuffle with fellow inmates at Rikers Island Jail back on October 16th. She was rude to the guard who broke up the fight, and refused a drug screen and now she’ll be spending 76 days in punitive segregation.
Brown is currently serving a year behind bars for violating her probation, set by a judge following her involvement in a nail salon brawl. She was charged with assault, attempted assault, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon - the cell phone.
At the time of her sentencing, Brown told the judge: "I'm willing to do whatever I need to do to change. I realize that's not where I want to be. It's humbled me in ways I never imagined." And now she’s doing some hard time.
