Whitney Houston Visits the Nation's Capital

Surrounded by an entourage of helpers, Whitney Houston was spotted arriving in Washington DC on Friday afternoon (January 15).

Wrapped up in a giant fur coat to brave the chilly weather, the “Million Dollar Bill” singer flashed her pretty smile once she made it to the warmth of her chauffeured vehicle.

Ms Houston is in DC for the taping of the annual BET Honors event, which is being recorded later tonight but will not air until Feb. 1st at 8pm.

The show will be hosted by Gabrielle Union and is taking place at the Warner Theatre where Whitney will be honored as a legendary figure in entertainment.
