Wedding Bells, Sleigh Bells For Katherine Heigl

Just about the time the first snow hits the ground, Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley will be saying “I do.” The pair will reportedly be wed right around Christmas this year.

The exact date is still a debatable point. Some sources say December 23rd, while others claim the couple will get married on Christmas Eve. The consensus seems to be that they’ll be celebrating Christmas this year in wedded bliss.

A source told press, "(Katherine) picked the date — Dec. 23, just two days before Christmas. It just works because she'll be in the middle of a holiday break for her show, and she'll still have enough time after for a short honeymoon!"

As for why Heigl likes the idea of a Christmas wedding, another source told press, "Everyone is already so full of cheer just before Christmas. So to throw in a wedding at that time — she just loved the idea!"

What about location? There are preliminary reports that it will be secluded. "Her idea is to get married under this snow covered tent her property with Josh in rural Utah. She wants glamour, so the dress is upscale. But she also wanted everything to feel down-to-earth, natural and beautiful."

There’s no news yet about a possible exclusive photo shoot or press coverage, but you can be sure that the paparazzi will be clamoring to get a sneak peek at the new Mr. and Mrs. Kelly.
