Vanessa Paradis Racks Up French Music Awards

When it comes to winning awards, Johnny Depp isn’t the only one in his family bringing home hardware. His girlfriend/babymamma Vanessa Paradis won double honor at the Victories De La Musique awards this past weekend.

The French singer/actress garnered the award for Best Pop Album, as well as the title of Best French Female artist. And when it came time for a speech, Paradis kept first things first.

She addressed the audience, “Thanks. Many thanks. I’m sincerely very touched. And special thanks to my lover and my kids.”

Vanessa also treated the crowd to some of her vocal stylings, while wearing what appeared to be a loan from her boyfriend’s closet: suspendered trousers, a tank top and a black and white tie. Saucy!
