Tori Spelling and Family Celebrate Book Release
She’s done very well for herself in the television medium, and now Tori Spelling is expanding continuing her foray into the written word with the release of her book “Mommywood.”
The “90210” actress was spotted, along with her husband Dean McDermott, daughter Stella, and son Liam, celebrating the release of her new book at the Thompson Hotel in Beverly Hills yesterday (April 13).
Also joining her was longtime friend/costar Jennie Garth who looked sleek in all-black compared to Tori’s festive shiny green one-shoulder dress.
In related news, Tori’s mother Candy recently posted an emotional plea to her daughter, asking her to reconnect. On her Web site, the Spelling matriarch wrote, "You haven't responded to my emails, phone calls and text messages. You say you look at my website, so I'm trying to reach you that way. I want to see you and your family – in private, like the 'normal family' you say always wanted."
She continued, "What makes it so difficult is to hear you say things like: I'd like to call my mother, or I love my mother but don't speak to her, or I think she has my nanny's phone number. I don't want a reunion via talk show or to speak through the press. I want a relationship with you and my grandchildren."
