Tony Parker: Livin La Vida Lucky

With his team winning the NBA Championship (again) and beautiful actress Eva Longoria as his fiancee, Tony Parker must be feeling pretty darn lucky. At least, he’d better be!

Tony Parker’s San Antonio Spurs annihilated the Cleveland Cavaliers for a massive championship win this week. Fans and teammates all love him. According to Spurs player Tim Duncan, “Tony gets to the rim all the time, and there’s no knocking anyone, the Cavs or anyone else. With his quickness, with his ability to finish in the lane, he gets in there almost at will.”

And he’s been successful off the court as well. I mean, come on… he’ll be marrying Eva in a matter of weeks. And she’s his biggest fan! According to Longoria, “I am the loud kind of fan who knows enough about the game that I will yell in protest if I think some bad calls were made. That’s how passionate I am.”

Passionate indeed. As Parker prepares to lead Team France into the EuroBasket 2007 tournament in an attempt to qualify for the Olympics, he’ll have a new wife and another championship ring to keep him company.
