Tom Cruise: Wanted By Redskins Fans

Enjoying a weekend football outing, Tom Cruise was spotted cheering his heart away at the Detroit Lions vs. Washington Redskins game in Detroit on Sunday (September 27).

In town after spending time filming his new movie "Wichita" in Boston, the "Top Gun" stud prowled the sidelines as the home team snapped a 19-game losing streak.

Cruise happened to be in attendance as a guest of Redskins owner, Dan Snyder, with fans of the 'Skins taking to Twitter to try and get Cruise on the field.

Upset that their team was losing to the abysmal Lions squad, a Tweeter named ruthiem wrote: "Hey Dan Snyder, maybe you should give Tom Cruise the ball on the next play."

Chiming in with concurring thoughts, Tinnerz10 wrote: "redskins should put Tom Cruise on the field. It can't get any worse."
