Spice Girls Reunion Tour Kicks Off
Oh yes, it is finally here. The Spice Girls reunion tour is officially underway, and the girls played their first show in Vancouver, British Columbia last night to 16,000 grateful fans.
The five UK superstars opened their show with a video of five “Spice-like” girls and their aspirations to one day become pop singers. Then Mel C, Mel B, Geri, Emma, and Victoria took the stage by storm with “Spice Up Your Life.”
Following their explosive opening number, the girls sang “Stop” and “Say You’ll Be There,” before launching into their new hit, “Headlines.”
In addition to their bevy of hits, the Spice Girls also incorporated a few cover songs into the set list. Melanie Brown rocked Lenny Kravitz’s “Are You Gonna Go My Way,” and “It’s Raining Men.” Even “The Humpty Dance” made its way into the show.
