Smells Like Mariah Carey Has A Hit

Everybody’s doing it. Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Paris Hilton, and Beyonce Knowles are among the celebrities that have buddied up with fragrance designers to create their own perfume. And Mariah Carey isn’t one to be left out.

She has introduced her first scent, M by Mariah Carey. The new fragrance line launched this past Monday, with help from Carlos Benaim and Loc Dong from the International Flavors and Fragrances.

“This is the first fragrance I’ve ever worn. The inspirations were multiple - places I’ve been, moments in my life, childhood things like the marshmallow scent,” the “Honey” singer told press.

And Mimi has some serious backing for the perfume. Elizabeth Arden fragrances will be the mainline distributor for M, releasing it in over 2,000 domestic locations, and over 13,000 international cites.

Look for her trademark butterfly design at a store near you, and you too can smell like Mariah.
