Shia LaBeouf: Recuperating From Hand Surgery
Landing himself in quite the unfortunate situation, Shia LeBeouf is reportedly now in recuperation mode following surgery at the Cedar Sinai Medical Center on Sunday (July 27).
"Attorneys for Mr. LaBeouf confirm that an automobile accident involving an additional party occurred early morning in Los Angeles on July 27, 2008," Shia's rep Melissa Kates wrote in a statement.
The press release added: "Shia is currently recovering from extensive hand surgery with plans to return to work on the set of Transformers 2 within one month. No further comment will be issued at this time."
As previously reported by Gossip Girls, the 22-year-old "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" star was involved in a roll-over truck accident around 2:45am, also being booked for DUI charges.
A female passenger in Shia’s car and the driver of the other car both sustained minor injuries and were treated at Cedar Sinai Medical Center, as well.
Below are pictures from the scene of the accident, along with shots of Shia's wrecked truck in the impound lot (July 27).
