Shakira: Gala Awards Gal

Taking her Latin-infused pop overseas, Shakira was spotted rocking the 2009 Gala Awards in Madrid, Spain last night (December 13).

The “Hips Don’t Lie” songstress looked to be in top form as she took the stage at Palacio de Los Deportes sporting a variety of sexy outfits.

In related news, Shakira also stretched her acting legs a bit during a recent guest starring stint on “Wizards of Waverly Place” for an upcoming episode.

She explained, "I'm actually quite funny, I can say. I had no idea I could do a little bit of comedy." Regarding the show’s star Selena Gomez, Shakira said, “She’s a good, talented artist. Selena has a great voice. The whole cast made me feel at home. They’re great.”
