Sarah Jessica Parker Enjoys Time Away from the Set

Enjoying a break from her filming duties, Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted taking advantage of the holiday weekend in New York City on Saturday (September 5).

Looking lovely, the Carrie Bradshaw actress joined a gal pal, with the twosome grabbing up lunch after what was a long week of work on "Sex and the City 2".

Due out in theaters on May 28, 2010, SJP and the gang are hoping for the same level of success seen by the former HBO show's first theatrical release - which grossed over $400 million worldwide.

Aside from "Sex and the City", Parker also recently finished filming duties for "Did You Hear About the Morgans?" - which hits theaters on December 11, 2009.

Co-starring Hugh Grant, the Marc Lawrence directed flick is about "an estranged couple who witness a murder are relocated to small-town Wyoming as part of a witness-protection program."
