Sarah Jessica Parker: Broadway Date

They’ve always been avid supporters of theater, and last night (April 19) Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband Matthew Broderick were spotted at the opening of “Mary Stuart” in New York City.

The “Sex and the City” cutie and her “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” hubby looked to be having a wonderful time as they mingled outside the Broadhurst Theatre prior to the start of the play.

In related news, it has been announced that the Bravo cable network has picked up SJP’s new reality show “American Artist,” a project she’s been working on since last July.

“American Artist” is similar to “Project Runway” in that contestants will compete in art-themed challenges from a range of disciplines -- including sculpture, painting, photography and industrial design – and will complete works of art that will be appraised by a panel of top figures in the art world, including fellow artists, gallerists, collectors, curators and critics.
