Sacha Baron Cohen Takes Bruno to Today
He’s been having a blast promoting his new movie “Bruno” all over the world. And this morning Sacha Baron Cohen showed up at the “Today” show ahead of tomorrow’s release.
The “Borat” actor was dressed in full character, sporting a flamboyant silver jumpsuit complete with a frosted blonde coif and a miniature black hat cocked to the side.
Cohen discussed some of the finer points of his new film, including his confusing Hamas with hummus, also asserting that the capital city of France was named after the “top American skank.”
Finally, Matt Lauer informed Cohen that the Austrian Minister to Great Britain (Bruno is from Austria and Cohen is British) has called for a boycott of the film. Cohen faked a crying scene, stating “This is the first I am hearing of this,” and requesting a close-up for his private moment.
