Ronnie Wood Arrested for Assaulting Girlfriend

Landing himself in a legal mess, Rolling Stones rocker Ronnie Wood has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting his girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova.

According to breaking reports, the 62-year old guitarist was held by police in Surrey on Wednesday evening (December 2) for the alleged attack and reportedly stayed overnight before being released on bail.

The ugly incident followed an alleged dispute on a street close to the couple's home in Claygate, Surrey.

A Rolling Stones spokesman has confirmed the arrest, but added that the band will not be issuing a statement.
