Making young people smile, Rihanna spent Wednesday evening performing at the Highline Ballroom to benefit her charity Believe and DKMS.
As previously reported by Gossip Girls, the Umbrella hitmaker was joined for her evening of good deeds by her "close friend" Chris Brown.
The charity at work last night, Believe, has a goal "to assist and inspire children who suffer from life-threatening diseases including cancer, leukemia and AIDS." Meanwhile, DKNS is the largest non-profit marrow donor center in the world.
Of lending her support to such good causes, Rihanna told press: “When I was young and I would watch television and I would see all the children suffering, I always said when I grow up I want to help.”
