Rihanna: Surprised By Jay-Z/Beyonce Nuptials

The whole point of having a hush-hush wedding is so that no one knows, and therefore no one can leak the information to the press. And Jay-Z and Beyonce’s wedding was so secret, not even Jay’s protégé Rihanna knew about it.

The “Umbrella” singer told press, “I didn’t know! No one knew!” Heck, even after the wedding the “99 Problems” rapper was spotted sans ring, and at Monday night’s NCAA Championship party at his 40/40 club, he denied marriage reports.

Rihanna expressed her shock over the wedding at her Highland Ballroom gig in NYC earlier this week. The show was to benefit her Believe Foundation and DKMS.

And of course, the Good Girl Gone Bad’s “just friend” Chris Brown was out for the gig, giving his approval of Rihanna’s performance. She told press, “Chris said it was a good show. He really enjoyed it.” Good friends indeed.
