Rihanna Revisits Past Headaches
Not only did she have to deal with being raised by a drug addicted father, Rihanna also endured years of CAT scans over worry that she had a brain tumor. With such a testing upbringing, success couldn't have struck a more deserving young woman.
In a recent interview, the Umbrella songstress said that she had such severe headaches during her growing years that doctors thought she had brain tumor. The ‘Unfaithful’ star underwent medical testing from the age of 8 up until she was 13 years-old.
The end of the CAT scans coincided with her parents' separation, which is pointed out as the cause of her troubles to begin with. Doctors believe that stress was the root of her head woes.
"I wouldn't cry. I wouldn't get upset. It was just all in here (her head). I had to go through a lot of CAT scans. They even thought it was a tumor, because it was that intense,” ContactMusic quoted her, as saying. "It's not great memories. But it helped to build me and make me stronger," she added.
Now healthy and hot, Rihanna continues to climb the ladder of stardom!
