Rihanna and Chris Brown Incident: More Details Emerge

As Chris Brown continues to lose sponsors as a result of his recent arrest, more and more details are emerging about his alleged assault on Rihanna over the weekend.

"Chris knocked her around," a source told People magazine. "Black eye, blood, bruises. She had to be treated by a doctor."

A source from the police department added that the Barbadian beauty had "a swollen split lip and two red and purple contusions on either side of her forehead."

Trying to ease worried fans concerns, Rihanna's grandmother Clara Brathwaite told Barbados' Daily Nation newspaper, "I don't want people to worry. Rihanna is fine and she is doing well."

Getting support from fellow musicians, hip-hop star Kanye West said, "Rihanna is so important to our culture ... to pop music. I feel like she is the most important artist in music and has the most potential. Her taste level and her age ... she has the potential to be the greatest artist of all time. In that sense, I feel like that's my baby sis. I would do any and everything to help her in any situation."
