Reese Witherspoon Readies for Softball Role

Reese Witherspoon was at a taping for NBC’s ‘Today’ filming in Rockefeller Plaza earlier today (March 24) looking adorable in a grey dress and dark tights.

And it sounds like Reese is getting ready for her next movie role, during which she'll be playing a professional sportswoman.

After her latest animated movie, "Monsters Vs. Aliens," Miss Witherspoon has now partnered up with Jim Brooks, Paul Rudd and Bill Murray for a movie about softball that has not been titled as of yet. Witherspoon told press, “It’s a movie with Jim Brooks and Paul Rudd and Bill Murray. I don’t know what the title is.”

The "Sweet Home Alabama" cutie added, “I really have been making making a movie with Jim Brooks for about two years now and one day we’ll start filming and it will be fantastic!”

And it sounds like Witherspoon doesn’t know much more about it than anyone else. “We haven’t shot the movie yet. I play a professional softball player.”
