Randy and Evi Quaid's Legal Woes Continue

In September they were arrested for allegedly skipping out on their bill from a Santa Barbara hotel, and now the Quaids are stirring the pot even more.

E Online is reporting that neither Randy nor Evi appeared at a hearing in court this morning (October 19), which doesn’t help their cause one bit.

Although the appearance was strictly voluntary, it was made clear ahead of time that if they did not show up, formal extradition proceedings would begin.

Santa Barbara District Attorney’s Office spokesman, Lee Carter, told press, "It was on calendar today to see if they wanted to voluntarily appear. They didn't show up. The warrant in California remains outstanding; the District Attorney's Office will start preparing the extradition paperwork."
