Prince William: Advocate for the Homeless

Denying himself his royal accommodations for an evening, Prince William recently slept under a bridge in Central London to raise awareness for the homeless.

The English royal camped out in freezing conditions last week in order to become a man of the people and show some love this holiday season.

William explained to the press, “I hope that by deepening my understanding of the issue, I can help do my bit to help the most vulnerable on our streets.”

He continued, "I cannot, after one night, even begin to imagine what it must be like to sleep rough on London's streets night after night. Poverty, mental illness, drug and alcohol dependency and family breakdown cause people to become, and then stay, homeless.”
