Keeping up his rock star appearance, Pete Wentz ventured over to the Cottage Hair Studio in Beverly Hills on Monday evening (June 15).

Getting cut and styled, the Fall Out Boy bassist patiently sat in his chair, checking out the work being done with the help of a handheld mirror.

The salon stop comes amidst tabloid rumors that his marriage to Ashlee Simpson is, once again, on the rocks.

A tabloid source alleges, "She (Ashlee) is reverting to drinking and going out, because she is sick and tired of her life. This is an outlet for her unhappiness. It’s a bad situation, and Pete is getting fed up."

Another insider adds that motherhood is taking its toll on Ashlee, saying, “Ashlee loves motherhood but misses her life without responsibility."
