PETA Upsets Obamas with New Ad
They’re known for getting celebrities to endorse their anti-animal cruelty campaigns, but it seems PETA has gone too far with their new ads.
According to a report, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals organization used First Lady Michelle Obama's picture on a new poster, placing her alongside animal rights advocates Oprah Winfrey, Carrie Underwood, and Tyra Banks.
Unfortunately, they never got Mrs. Obama’s permission to do so, and now the White House is up in arms about the whole ordeal.
PETA president Ingrid Newkirk told press, "The fact is that Michelle Obama has issued a statement indicating that she doesn't wear fur, and the world should know that in PETA's eyes, that makes her pretty fabulous.”
