Penelope Cruz Premieres "Broken Embraces"

Hot on the promotional trail in her homeland, Penelope Cruz was all smiles at the Spanish premiere of "Broken Embraces" in Madrid on Wednesday (March 18).

Held at Proyecciones cinema, the "Vanilla Sky" star playfully posed with director Pedro Almodovar on the red carpet as her new movie makes its way into theaters in Spain.

Meanwhile, Penelope is reportedly pondering the idea of working alongside Italian director Sergio Castellitto for his upcoming project, Venuto al Mondo (Into the World).

Variety magazine reports that Miss Cruz said that she was "talking to Castellitto about the lead role in his new film, in which she would play a single mother living in Sarajevo."
