Paula Abdul Supports Family Boutique Venture

Out supporting her family, Paula Abdul joined up with cousin Tara Riceberg outside Riceberg's new Beverly Hills store "Tweak 99" on Thursday (December 10).

With the former "American Idol" judge looking stylish in a black ensemble with thigh high boots, she and Miss Riceberg posed for pictures outside of the cozy boutique specializing in selling affordable, yet unique gifts, all priced at $99 or less.

Meanwhile, Miss Abdul recently chatted with OK! magazine about her experiences on "American Idol," telling, "I am a big fan of the show. You can lift up a rock and find a gem. These kids would never have a chance to be seen. It’s the greatest show on television all around the world."

As for Simon Cowell, Paula explains, "He’s the bully brother! He’s annoying sometimes. You have to reel him in. ‘Come on back, Simon. Come on back.’ It’s great because Kara finally sees what it’s like for me in my own private hell. She gets it now."
