Nicole Richie Avoids Engagement Talk

Possibly walking down the aisle soon, Nicole Richie kept it very hush hush on Tuesday morning with Live with Regis and Kelly.

The former Simple Life star talked to the hosts about her jewelry line and son Sparrow, but did not touch on the subject of an engagement where Madden Tweeted, “Yep, i’m engaged. Very happy,” late Monday.

No ring was spotted on the show, but on Monday she was spotted with a huge ring. A source told, "Nicole and Joel are in the process of planning the wedding. She's very involved in every detail. She's thrilled."

Richie reportedly made an announcement on The Late Show with David Letterman during a Monday taping, but that episode does not air until Friday and transcripts haven’t been released to anyone.

Meanwhile, on the morning show, she spoke of her son and his name Sparrow. "Joel and I have very different tastes in names. We really just have to work with whatever it is we both agree on, so I really liked Sparrow from Captain Jack Sparrow, and he liked it for different reasons…we call him Row.” Richie also had a daughter with Madden who is 2 years old."I didn't even realize that [both of their names] ended with 'ow.' I love the name Willow, and now that’s out because I’m not gonna have all kids with 'ows.'"
