Nicole Richie and Joel Madden Start Charity
In an unexpected move, parents-to-be Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are stepping up their philanthropic efforts, and starting a charity.
They’ll be founding the Richie Madden Children’s Foundation to support mothers in need. And you’ll never guess how they’ll solicit donations.
For starters, Joel and Nicole are planning a baby shower this Sunday, and instead of guests bringing gifts for the happy couple, they’ll be donating things like cribs, strollers, and stuffed animals to the RMCF.
Also, in the month of December, the RMCF will be donating 100 Mom-to-be kits to the LA free clinic. Nicole told press, “I want my child to look up to me and be proud of me.”
