Nicole Richie and Joel Madden: Breakfast at Hugo's

With his lovely wife returned back home following a trip to New York City for Fashion Week, happy couple Nicole Richie and Joel Madden were spotted grabbing up breakfast in Los Angeles earlier today (February 21).

The former "Simple Life" star and her Good Charlotte rocker beau visited Hugo's Restaurant for their morning meal, looking to be in high spirits as they held hands and laughed amongst one another.

As previously reported by Gossip Girls, Nicole and Joel are planning a family night on the couch tomorrow night rather than attend the Academy Awards.

At a charity party for the Democratic Republic of Congo, Joel told press: "I think Slumdog's gonna win. I hope Brad Pitt wins 'cause he's never won an Oscar, right? Well I'm rooting for him then. I hope he gets it this time."
