Nicole Kidman Talks Family Expansion

It seems that motherhood is agreeing with her in a major way, and at last night’s Glamour Women of the Year Awards, Nicole Kidman confessed that she’d like to have more kids.

The “Moulin Rouge” actress told press, “I would love more children- but that’s up to God!” As for whether or not she considered adoption, she quipped, “That’s too personal!”

And it sounds like Nicole comes from a long line of positive female influence as she recently credited her mother as one of her main inspirations. “When you're raised by a woman who has strong beliefs and is opinionated and compassionate – you're lucky! I will always give her credit!”

She continued, "If you take care of the women in the family – the mother in the family – then the children will be taken care of. We can all attest that the mother is the heartbeat of the family, and if you take care of her, everybody does well."
