Nelly Furtado Opens Up the Olympics
Taking part in the Olympic festivities, Nelly Furtado took the stage in front of a 60,000 member audience during the opening ceremony in Vancouver, Canada on Friday night (February 12).
Looking stunning in a shiny blue frock, the 31-year-old Canadian singer joined Bryan Adams for a duet of a song written by Adams called “Bang the Drums“.
Aside from her Olympics performance, Nelly has recently landed her first acting gig as a crazed hockey fan in director Michael McGowan's "Score: A Hockey Musical".
Of casting Miss Furtado, Mr McGowan tells, "Nelly is an incredible entertainer and, after speaking with her, I realized that she fully relished embracing her inner hockey fanatic."
