Natalie Portman: Gotham Gorgeous

Stepping out for a night on the red carpet, Natalie Portman was looking lovely at IFP's 19th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards at Cipriani, Wall Street in New York City on Monday (November 30).

The "My Blueberry Nights" babe mingled with fellow attendees before her podium duties, smiling as she posed for pictures alongside Stanley Tucci.

The awards show outing comes as Miss Portman has been getting into promotional mode for her new movie "Brothers," which hits theaters this Friday (December 4).

Co-starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Tobey Maguire, the Jim Sheridan directed flick is about "a young man who comforts his older brother's wife and children after he goes missing in Afghanistan."
