Out for a walk with her precious pup, Mischa Barton was spotted out in New York City earlier today (January 12).

The “Walled In” beauty sported some cool shades as she and her dog walked to grab coffee in the SoHo neighborhood.

In other news, Miss Barton recently scored a new acting gig - she’ll be playing a prostitute named Gladys on the hit NBC drama “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.”

A set source told press, "Mischa's character is hiding a secret that will prove complicating for Mariska Hargitay's Benson."
