Making the most of her time in New York City, Mischa Barton was spotted arriving at her Downtown hotel last night (January 14).

The “Beautiful Life” babe looked a bid dodgy as she strolled inside, carrying a bag from discount department store Burlington Coat Factory and sporting a leopard print coat.

Perhaps Miss Barton’s new penchant for bargain shopping is the result of a stalled-out career, but then again it could just be research for an upcoming role.

Mischa will be guest starring on “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” as a prostitute named Gladys in an upcoming episode.
